Stamped Bill of Lading / Proof of Delivery
also called proof of delivery (POD), shows the number of boxes in the shipment and the total weight when it was picked up by the carrier. This document must have the Amazon stamp that confirms the shipment was received and signed for at the fulfillment center.
Proof of delivery showing that the shipment arrived at our fulfilment centre. Ask the carrier for a copy of one of the following documents as proof of delivery:
A digital screenshot of the delivery appointment showing the appointment ID.
A bill of lading that shows the number of boxes in the shipment and the total weight when it was picked up by the carrier. The bill of lading must contain a signature that confirms that the shipment was received and signed for at the fulfilment centre.
If your shipment was delivered by Amazon Freight, submit a copy of the electronic proof of delivery downloaded from your account. The copy must have a Delivery Confirmed By box at the bottom of the page with the date, time and delivery location.
Proof of purchase (Invoice)
The proof of purchase must be the original invoice from the supplier or the manufacturer and it must include the following information:
Date of purchase
Product names of the missing units
Quantity purchased
Full name and address of the invoice issuer
Full name and address of the buyer
The purchase price isn’t required and can be concealed.
Ensure that you provide invoices for all of the units that you’ve sent in your shipments, from the invoice date to the shipped date of the shipment that is currently under investigation.
