If you want to connect VentoryOne to an external tool, you need your personal API token. It is in the account settings together with all other integration settings. In this article, I'll show you exactly where to find it.
In this article:
Open User Menu
Open Settings
Open API Access
Show Token
You start in the dashboard – from here you reach all account settings.
---
Step 1 - Open User Menu
At the top right you will find your account name or 'EU' – a click opens the user dropdown with entries like 'Settings', 'Billing' and 'Payment Plan'.
---
Step 2 - Open Settings
In the open menu, click 'Settings' and land directly in the overview of your account settings, where all integration and account options are bundled.
---
Step 3 - Open API Access
Switch to the 'API Access' tab – here you will find your personal API access data in addition to the Amazon SP API settings.
---
Step 4 - Show tokens
Scroll down a bit to the 'VentoryOne API' section and click 'Show API Token' there to reveal your personal Bearer token for external tools. If you ever need a new one, you'll find the 'Generate new token' button right next to it – but it invalidates the old token, so only use it when necessary.
