(The following examples of inventory reports partly contain data from demo accounts)

Part 1) Generate inventory reports

Part 2) Contents of the inventory reports

Part 3) Send frequencies / filter rules / labels

Part 1) Generate inventory reports

To receive stock reports by e-mail, you must first set the frequencies at which you would like to receive them. To do this, click on your name at the top right and go to Settings > E-mail reports.

Here you can also add further e-mails as recipients of the reports as well as store the cc's. The e-mail of your VentoryOne account is already stored here as the default recipient.

If some reports do not arrive or you would like to have them resent, you can trigger the resending of the reports again.

Part 2) Contents of the inventory reports

You will find the following inventory reports in the account settings:

  1. Inventory stock reports

  2. Inventory reports by warehouse

  3. Active purchase orders

  4. Active FBA Send-Ins

1. Inventory stock reports

In this report you have an overview of your stocks, sales speeds and ranges, as you know it from the Current stock menu item. In addition, you will find the information on the bound chapter here, which you can also find on the dashboard under "Current stock". This report is therefore very general.

(Best opened in a separate tab)

2. Inventory reports by warehouse

In this report, you only have an overview of the capital commitment in goods by warehouse. Each pre-FBA warehouse and the FBA warehouse are listed separately.

It is therefore the perfect report for your tax advisor.

3. active purchase orders

Here you can see a detailed log of all orders placed. The report is divided into the following categories:

  1. Purchase order log

  2. Regular purchase orders

  3. Stock conversions

  4. Stock transfers

In this report you will find all the details of your current/active orders, as well as the archived ones.

4. active FBA Send-In

In the following report you will find an overview of your current and archived FBA Send-Ins, including the respective status on the part of Amazon.

Part 3) Send frequencies / filter rules / labels

As already mentioned in Part 1, it is possible to set up the frequencies in which the reports are to be sent as desired. It is possible to generate reports monthly, on any day, daily and hourly. To do this, it is advisable to create a filter category for the corresponding reports with your email provider.

Here is an example with Gmail and labels. Since VentoryOne always sends the inventory reports from "[email protected]", we know which sender we need to filter. Also, the reports always have the same heading, varied with the appropriate date. In this example, we wanted to label the report about the active FBA submissions, so we filtered the subject for "Active FBA Submissions Report - VentoryOne" from the previously mentioned "noreply" email address of VO.

That's it, that's all you need! Now the reports are nicely filtered by subject and can be accessed at any time and filtered/searched by date.
