In this article, we will explain how to add the best before date to your SKUs, which will also print them on the shipping labels for FBA Send-Ins.

In the screenshot you can see MHD. This is the German abbreviation for the best before date.

Information: VentoryOne works according to the FIFO principle (First In - First Out).

According to this, stock that are booked in first (with a younger best-before date) are used first for FBA Send-Ins.

It is important that you enter the best before date in your Purchase Orders. Pay attention to your entries in the purchase orders or CSV stock import:

or by CSV upload:

Important: The "BBD is not taken over if you convert loose stock into plain cartons.

The loose stock is assumed to be mixed stock. If you build cartons from this again, you no longer know exactly which units were picked out, or which may have already been sold via multi-channel.

Therefore, the BBD must be set again in this case, so that it is correct in any case.
